Art of Fresh - 'Get Free' (Toronto - May 2007) D.O. & I first met at Canadian Music Week in 2005, and we got to know each other cause we use the same Indie Band Manager software. I was real impressed by his business sense and Stay Driven motivational speaking. So when I found out his group, Art of Fresh (D.O. + Slakah the Beatchild), was shooting a video over Easter weekend 2007, I dropped by this real fun shoot. Universal Soul - 'Back N Forth' featuring Amelia Curran (Halifax - 2006) Consisting of members Fiz, Voodoo, Tacktishion & DJ IV, Universal Soul is one of Halifax's veteran groups with roots dating back to the 80s. They bring that vintage block party rap vibe that I crave. My featured role sees me freaking out because I'm the only one who realizes we're in a music video. Shot in Halifax in April 2005, it features the amazing Amelia Curran. Cameos from Classified, DJ Plaeboi, Mick D & Brad Cayford. After shooting wrapped up, we performed at Trailer Park Boys season premiere, where J-Roc stole my sharpie. |
